Location: West North West of Milford, Utah - 4 hours South of Salt Lake City. Altitude: 9600 ft Vertical: 4000 ft Easily the "biggest
air" site in Utah that is currently used for paragliding. Climbs to 18,000 ft (+) if you're not careful! Excellent cross-country potential. Very seldom is it flyable and not good for cross-country. We heard
such horror stories about this site from the hangliding community that for the first 2 years of paragliding at Frisco it was only myself and one other x-country buddy who were willing to fly it (ignorance is bliss). On my 5th
time there it looked too "big" to me so I chose not to fly, but my friend did. He got sucked into a cloud at 2200 ft/min lift while in a B-line stall! A half hour later he was 200 ft off the ground going 70 miles/hour over
the ground. He came through it without a scratch. Wow! We were both permanently impressed. Take a tarp along for launching.
