Location: Mt. North of Olympus               

Altitude: 5900 ft.                        

Vertical: 1000 ft.

This is a 30 min. "walk up" site that was pioneered last year (1999) by 2 of my students from the year before (Mike Kinney and Wes Brown). I helped them find a better launch this year and now it is being flown more frequently. It is near Olympus and has a much better LZ. This LZ and the one at Inspo can only be used when school is not in session.  It is very important that all pilots understand this and comply with this rule.  No landings in the school ground are allowed during school hours!  This site appears to offer many great flights for pilots.  People have begun to fly to the Point of the Mountain from here, which denotes good x-country potential.
