Altitude: 8600 ft Vertical: 3000 ft Excellent cross-country
potential. Advanced pilots only. Climbs to 17,000 ft on better days. Our hangliding friends thought we were crazy when we first came here to fly because the lift was so "big" and the launch slope quite shallow.
They were right, it does get quite "big" at times but with good advanced skills, paraglider pilots do fine. |
