April 12: Tandem 1 Class
Thorough preparation for your Tandem 3 clinic with all of the study materials you will need. |
April 13, 14: Ridge soaring, side hill and top
landings and high wind kiting. Special emphasis on the asymmetric inflation technique, the most effective way we have for moderate to high wind and thermal conditions. |

June 5, 6, 7, 8: Cross-country competiton
clinic. A friendly introduction to cross-country flying with instruction from US and North American x-c record setter Bill Belcourt, and Ken who held the x-c record in Utah for 7 years and has won the Utah x-c cup for 6 of the 12 years it has been run. All aspects of x-c Competition will be covered. Utah x-c sites.

Nov 8 to 15 &/or Nov 15 to 22: Iquique, Chile Flying sites with Ken, Bill Belcourt and local guides. A great trip to what many pilots consider to be the best place to fly in the world. |
Jan 2 to Jan 8 &/or Jan 2 to Jan 11, 2009: Valle de Bravo Mexico with thermal and x-c instruction with Bill Belcourt (Jan 2 to Jan 8 only) and Ken Hudonjorgensen. |

Ken Hudonjorgensen is the senior paragliding instructor in Utah at the Point of the Mountain, held the Utah cross-country record for seven years and the Utah cup for six years. He is the second master rated pilot in the US, a
Tandem and Instructor administrator in the USHGA, the only paragliding instructor for the US Marine corps and was the first recipient of the Nation's highest safety award (5th Diamond.)
