Format:
Turn points and race to goal.

Location:
Squaw Peak Lookout (Inspo.) The most consistent and well used thermalling and XC site for large groups in UT. Launch spots for over 20 pilots to set up at once on the upper launch. Launch is above Provo UT with an approximate 1-hour drive from the Salt Lake International Airport.

Skill level: P4 or greater.

Conditions:
High desert Mt. flying. Launch is at 6760 ft. msl and the valley floor is at 4600 ft.- msl. Climbs typically are to 11,000 to 14,000 ft. msl. at a rate of 400 to 1200 fpm. |

Registration:
Aug 20th, 6 to 8 p.m. followed by the mandatory pilot briefing at 8 PM at the Hampton Inn, 10690 Holiday Park Drive (next to the I-15 freeway) Sandy UT, 84070 800-426-7866 801-571-0800.
For those unable to register on the 20th: Aug 21, 8:00 to 9:30 am at the Hampton Inn
This is meet headquarters and we encourage pilots to stay
here. We have negotiated a special rate for pilots and their families and friends @ $59 per room per night (it is normally $85), 2 or more per room = $29.50 each, or less with a 3rd person and cot.

Fee:
$295 if received before June 1st, $330 if after. All pilots are required to be Utah Association Members. The cost is $25.00 per week or $50.00 per year. If you do not already have this membership we can take
care of it at the Registration on Aug. 20th.

Transportation:
Due to limited parking, shuttles will be provided to launch. Retrieval along the route will also be provided. You are welcome to bring your own if you would like but your retrieval vehicle will not be
allowed to park on top of Insporation point. Parking on top will be for official competition vehicles only.
